Bred in the States, this chilli has been around since the 1990s. The very hot, deeply-grooved fruit are thin-fleshed and elongated, measuring about 100mm long. Though the variety is classified as a cayenne, the fruit have uncharacteristically blunt ends. They ripen from pastel yellow to orange and eventually bright red against a background of yellowish green leaves. The medium-sized plants are good yielders, and do well in large pots and growbags as well as in the ground.
