Nairobi is a main crop carrot that has a high yield potential. The bright orange roots are cylindrical-shaped, coming to a blunt end. Highly recommended on friable, light-textured soils.

Sow outdoors in May; roots will be ready for pulling in the autumn. As winter approaches, cover with fleece or straw to protect the roots from frost and extend the harvest period.
