The World's Hottest Chillies

The 'superhots' are habanero chillies that measure over 500,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), and given the right environment, some varieties are capable of reaching a million SHU or more. These chillies must be treated with great care and respect. We have three rules: never dare, never bet and NEVER trick someone into eating a superhot chilli.

The superhots that we sell are all exclusive to Sea Spring Seeds. They are:

• Fire: 572,000 SHU
  
• Bengle Naga: 732,000 – 923,000 SHU
• Dorset Naga: 544,000 – 1,032,000 SHU

(Heat analyses were conducted on chillies harvested in August or September from plants grown at Sea Spring Farm. These results are an indication only – the growing environment, as well as variety, affects the heat level.

PLEASE NOTE: Superhot chillies are late maturing and difficult to grow. Novices should be aware that they may be disappointed with their results. Instructions are sent with all packs we send out, and we strongly recommend that they are followed.
